Hello! I'm a writer, editor, and book critic based in Brighton, U.K.
My work has appeared in World Literature Today, Words Without Borders, and Asymptote, among others. I write predominantly about literature in translation, especially by women, and am a National Book Critics Circle member. When I’m not writing about books, I write about post-communist states, politics, and travel (sometimes all three at once).
I’m also an amateur photographer working with a Pentax and Yashica from the 1980s.
